Thomas A. Lucarelli, Esq.

Mr. Lucarelli is the Firm’s founding partner. He is a graduate of the Fordham University School of Law, Class of 1989 where he received honors as a published member of the Fordham Law Review. Mr. Lucarelli also received his undergraduate degree from Fordham University, Class of 1986, Summa Cum Laude.

Mr. Lucarelli began his legal career at the prestigious Wall Street law firm Dewey Ballantine where he acquired extensive experience in general and commercial litigation. In 1992 Mr. Lucarelli founded what is now Lucarelli Castaldi & Lanza.

Throughout his career, Mr. Lucarelli has acquired a broad legal background with extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of general litigation with particular emphasis on all aspects of personal injury litigation. He has successfully litigated several large-scale million dollar cases and has participated in numerous complex settlement agreements. His success and proven track record has earned him a reputation among his colleagues and in the insurance industry as a skilled litigator in all types of injury cases.

Mr. Lucarelli is admitted to practice in the State Courts of New York and New Jersey and in the Federal District Court of New Jersey and both the Eastern and Southern Federal District Courts of New York.

Philip S. Castaldi, Esq.

Mr. Castaldi is a partner in the Firm. He is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, Class of 1992, where he was a member of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. He received a B.A. Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Class of 1986.

Mr. Castaldi also practices in the area of general litigation with an emphasis on injury litigation. Throughout the years Mr. Castaldi has built a reputation as a highly skilled trial lawyer.

Mr. Castaldi serves as special trial counsel to a number of law firms and insurance companies.

Mr. Castaldi is admitted to practice law in the State Courts of New York and both the Eastern and Southern Federal District Courts of New York.

Senator Andrew J. Lanza

Senator Lanza is an attorney and a New York State Senator representing the 24th Senate District. He is a former member of the New York City Council.

Senator Lanza received his undergraduate degree from St. John’s University and his law degree from Fordham University School of Law. Senator Lanza has a broad legal and corporate background which began at KPMG Peat Marwick where he was a Senior Auditor in charge of auditing public and private firms, banks and hospitals. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office as a prosecutor.

As a State Senator he is Chairman of the Senate Ethics Committee and Co-Chair of the Legislative Ethics Commission, a member of the Senate Committees on Education, Transportation, Codes, Education, Aging, Cities, Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, Judiciary, and the Veterans, Homeland Security and Military Affairs Committee.

At the City Council he sat on the Education Committee, Land Use Committee, Sanitation and Solid Waste Committees, Standard, and Ethics Committee, Environmental and Transportation Committee, as well as the Sub-Committee on Planning, Dispositions and Concessions.

When he is not fighting to protect your rights in Albany, Senator Lanza is an active practicing partner at the Firm.

Senator Lanza is admitted for the practice law to the Bars of New York, New Jersey, Southern Federal District Court of New York, and District of New Jersey.
